Hey There

Hi, I’m Constantinos Lytras, and I like to say I’m a recovering people pleaser. Since 2005, I’ve worked in the corporate world, but the lessons that shaped me most didn’t come from boardrooms or business meetings. They came from facing and overcoming one of the toughest chapters in my life.

That journey pushed me toward self-discovery, personal growth, and a deep commitment to lifelong learning. Along the way, I found my purpose. Today, I use what I’ve learned to support others through coaching, helping them face challenges, build confidence, and grow into the leaders they want to be.

This is my story.

Learning to Lead Myself First

I’m Constantinos Lytras, born in Nicosia, Cyprus, in 1980. Growing up at the crossroads of cultures, I carried both my mother’s Arabic heritage and the unique character of my island home. My multicultural background shaped my identity and gave me a deep respect for diversity.

Life wasn’t always smooth. As a quiet and shy child with low confidence, I often bottled up my emotions. That led to overthinking, people-pleasing, and chasing external validation. I envied the outgoing kids who seemed at ease with themselves, wishing I could be like them but not knowing where to begin.

At home, I lived between two different parental influences. My father’s strict, authoritative style and my mother’s warm, nurturing love. Those contrasts shaped how I understood relationships and taught me early lessons about leadership and life.

The family business, a meat-processing venture founded by my grandfather, was another key part of my upbringing. Helping out in the factory, I spent time with hardworking employees who showed me resilience, humility, and how people wanted to be treated. My father taught me discipline and the value of work—but also made me aware of the kind of leader I didn’t want to become.

The Leadership Awakening

My academic path was steady, with average to good grades, but life’s experiences taught me more than classrooms ever could.

After high school in 1999, I served 26 months in the Cypriot National Guard. Military life tested me in ways I hadn’t expected. At first, leadership there looked like authority and rank, but I soon realized something deeper: true leadership is about service, care, and inspiring others.

In 2001, I left for university in New Jersey, USA. The multicultural environment was life-changing. I gained independence, explored new cultures, and began shaping the person I wanted to become. By the time I graduated in 2005 with a Management degree, I carried a new perspective on leadership and personal growth.

Returning home, I joined the family business, working alongside my father and brother. Despite many lessons, our visions clashed. In 2011, I made the difficult decision to leave. That choice opened the door to new industries manufacturing, logistics and IT. Each role broadening my understanding of leadership. I saw clearly that at its core, leadership is about people—their values, needs, motivations, and dreams—and how to help them bring out their best selves.

Finding My True Purpose

By 2018, I hit a low point. I felt unfulfilled, disconnected, and drained by routine. Relationships suffered, and I couldn’t see a way forward. That was my breaking point.

Therapy became the turning point. Over three years, I focused on healing and rediscovering myself. I learned through books, podcasts, workshops, and seminars the skills schools rarely teach: communication, emotional intelligence, vulnerability, parenting, leadership, and more. I realized I had been living without boundaries, giving too much, and letting toxic influences into my life.

Slowly, things shifted. I learned to say “no” to what drained me and “yes” to what mattered. I set healthy boundaries, surrounded myself with people who lifted me, and reclaimed my energy. Along the way, I discovered my passion for growth and for helping others evolve.

My Coaching Journey

In 2021, I found my calling in coaching. It combined everything I cared about: personal growth, leadership, and supporting others in their own transformation.

By 2024, I achieved the ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential, a milestone that marked both my growth and my commitment to coaching. Today, I work with business owners and middle managers, helping them grow into leaders who inspire trust, create impact, and bring out the best in others.

Why I Do What I Do

Looking back, I see how different my path could have been if I had learned earlier the skills and insights I hold today. That’s why I’m dedicated to passing them on. Supporting younger generations to build strong foundations and helping current leaders gain fresh perspectives.

My mission is clear: to empower leaders to make an impact, be recognized, and be seen for who they truly are.
